Why I Am Running

I am running for City Council Ward 4 to give back to my Greeley community. I want to bring back trust between citizens and the City Council to foster important changes we all wish to see. No more us vs them government. This community is ours. Together.

Being transparent, reliable, and approachable are the most important qualities I bring to the people of Greeley both during my campaign and when I am elected to office. Ask me the hard questions, so we can
grow together as a community.

We are empowering our collective voice!

Community Building

We are in a unique position to have people with different backgrounds call Greeley home. Let’s tap into our agricultural roots and the many cultural identities of our people. We can cultivate a culture of community pride that improves the wellbeing of our residents. By providing community events that appeal to us and neighboring communities, we bring togetherness and encourage economic growth.

No to Cascadia Without a Vote

The Cascadia Project (now called Catalyst) is being rolled out despite ongoing disapproval. There are no protections to ensure Greeley residents and their taxpayer money stays safe. This is fiscally irresponsible and denies us our right to make a community decision. As a petition circulator, I discussed this project with thousands of residents and I want you to know that your concerns are my concerns. I will keep fighting for us to see this on the ballot.

Economic Growth

With Greeley being the fastest growing city in Colorado, we have the potential for positive economic growth, but we need to do our due diligence when planning. Supporting local businesses with access to support from the city is paramount. Let’s plan together to keep dollars here in Greeley with high quality, low risk investments to bring more jobs and revenue.

Purposeful Development

Purposeful development includes layout, location, traffic patterns, water, electrical supply, parks, and open spaces. Let’s expand our outdoor resources by integrating walkability to parks and open spaces from every neighborhood. But it also means maintaining high quality infrastructure.

Our infrastructure needs our full attention by maintaining roads and sidewalks and improving our floodwater system to keep homes and businesses safe. As we continue to grow in population, I will push to ensure we sustain appropriate resources like water, electrical supply, and maintained roadways.

We need to explore practical solutions that fit the bill for all potential homeowners. To do so, we can reinterpret home size and offer incentives to homebuilders to keep prices reasonable. We also need to hold developers accountable to save taxpayer money. That is how we can grow responsibly.
